Around the Granetalsperre

Beginner's mountainbike tour with ascent to Steinberg and a loop around the scenic Granetalsperre near Goslar The tour begins with crossing the city near the old city walls of Goslar and with a moderate ascent to the Steinberg mountain. On wider forest paths with beautiful views over the water reservoir, you then go down into the Granetal valley. The forest here consists largely of deciduous and mixed forest. After crossing the dam of the water reservoir, there is a narrow single trail back towards Goslar. The route leads through the city back to the starting point.
